From job costs to a clear price

Add hands-on time and support time, multiply by your hourly pay target, then add materials, travel, overhead, and any add-on charge. Divide that subtotal by one minus the payment fee rate.

A worked example

Four total hours at $50 per hour, $18 in materials, $12 in travel, and a 3% card fee give a $237.11 minimum price. Rounded up, that is $238 before tax. These are example inputs, not market rates.

A menu lists the services customers can choose. A quote lists the work and price for one customer. Confirm the vehicle condition and any applicable tax before agreeing a final price.
